Just a thought, but makes sense to me. They are not stupid people, the Japanese. Therefore I don't think this was stupidity, to build these things where they did... it was an invitation not to attack them w/ earthquakes, for the same reason no one really wants to bomb the NORKS... coz if they did, the poison would spread far & wide...

Maybe the reason they're not making a big deal about the obviously enormous
death toll from the tsunami is, it really won't matter pretty soon.

In a way, I understand their position because you don't want to panic the public where they really have nowhere to go. Eventually you have to come out and tell the truth when you don't have control of the situation anymore. The problem is that they usually wait until it's too late and now we have them telling people not to leave their homes and to cover their mouths with wet cloths when they breath.

I'm as pissed as anyone because those poor innocent people who are going to suffer a horrid death because of their government waiting too long to tell the truth. But, it's very easy for me to sit at my computer with limited knowledge because of the media spin that has gone on and say what they should be doing. In my opinion, it's ALWAYS best to tell the truth from the get go because you won't have others questioning your intentions later down the road.

All I can say is pray for all of those poor people over there, they need it.
