It's a liquid iodine solution most commonly found in 2% concentration. DO NOT INGEST. HIGHLY POISONOUS! Studies have found that 8mL (roughly 8 drops) of 2% iodine solution painted on the forearm or abdomen once per day will act like KI tablets and flood the thyroid with iodine so that I-131 is not absorbed.
