I think my wife's religious faith (RC) makes her able to handle about all the info I throw at her. She's ready in her own way, but as a result I kinda wonder how much of it even really registers with her. Everyone else around me probably thinks I'm a crank, though. And that's all right. Exactly,the writings been on the wall in neon flashing bright colors for years and it's all coming together now, I have completely rid myself of all material possessions(except for my comp) my room is empty,I sleep on a cot,my go-bag in the corner stocked and ready to roll. No whimsical thoughts of life will get better,no delusions of the government will take care of me when SHTF,no fancy bunker or hunkering down thinking things will get better over time,I'm ready for IT as much as I can be. |

We are a good balance as i can tell him to fill up the gas tank and stay home from work, and he will. However we are still getting the kids ready for school and keeping ourselves grounded. Prepare for the both of you and let her live in her delusion, for a little while longer. If we do all have only a short time of "normality" left, we should try to preserve this for our loved ones, for as long as possible, while we make preparations for them, on their behalf. Some people just don't want to know the truth, even if they know it is coming. You can try warning other people in your life, but if they choose not to listen, then let them be. When TSHTF, you can, in good conscience, feel that you tried your best to warn them. You just better make sure that these same people don't come and scrounge off you, as you will have to look after yourself and your wife. Pain In Ur Azz! |
