The time bomb he is referring to is the people of Saudi Arabia. If the Sunnis kill alot of shiites in Bahrain, the Shiites in eastern Saudi Arabia might not be too happy about it.

You are completely correct....there arent enough mad people in Saudi yet to challenge the military of Saudi, which is why the "day of rage" didnt work out as expected....they are more afraid than in other countries....

however, with saudi military in Behrain, if the protestors stand up to them and stand on tanks like in Libya or Egypt, then the people of Saudi will be embolden to reset the day of rage....

if enough people show up so that the government cant politically mow down 200,000 people, then its on and millions will follow suit...

its a timebomb because if it does go down, then our only real mid east oil ally will go down and oil will go to 200 per barrel....we all know what happened at 147....
