----The Truth About the Supermoon on March 19th- A Doomer's Wet Dream
[link to www.astropro.com]

From the article-

Examples of the SuperMoon connection with major storms and seismic events abound: the Mt. Pinatubo eruption, the largest volcanic event in the second half of the 20th Century, took place on June 15, 1991 (within three days of a SuperMoon); the October 6, 1948 Richter 7.3 earthquake that struck Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and took 110,000 lives, one of the deadliest earthquakes on record (again within three days of a SuperMoon, allowing for time zones); and the September 8, 1900 hurricane and tidal surge that struck Galveston, Texas on the day of a SuperMoon, which killed more people (8,000 dead) than any other Atlantic hurricane on record and remains the deadliest natural disaster yet to strike the United States. I'm just scratching the surface here, citing only a few historic instances in the past hundred years or so. Look a little deeper, and you'll run across literally hundreds more greater and lesser seismic and meteorological disturbances, from Hurricane Andrew in 1992 to the 1989 World Series (Loma Prieta) earthquake - just to name a couple contemporary notable examples.

Re: ----The Truth About the Supermoon on March 19th- A Doomer's Wet Dream
You belie the reasoning of your argument with two of your examples:

1) There are many 7.0+ earthquakes annually. The death toll is irrelevant - it's the correlation to the Super Moon that's relevant. Most 7.0 + do not occur around the Super Moon and the fact one happened in a place where people died means nothing in your argument.

2) Your hurricane argument is ridiculously stupid. Hurricanes form and intensify over a week or more - and they happen commonly depending on global conditions. The fact you're giving examples of things that happen regardless of whether a Super Moon is present or not reveals that you're data points likely have no meaningful connection to the Super Moon.

WOW! Hurricane Andrew killed probably tens of thousands more than we were told. They kept people away so no one knew the truth.

It's not the numbers that count totally. Take Christchurch for example.

They don't seem to always have a huge correlation to the amount of doom that can be caused.

Number of deaths is probably more of an indication of the power of the even.

Re: ----The Truth About the Supermoon on March 19th- A Doomer's Wet Dream
I think the point of the hurricane correlation is the increased tidal surge. Hurricanes already dramatically increase the surge as they come on shore... add to that force a "supermoon" with it's own increased tidal pull and you could get a recipe for an even greater disaster.

I don't think anyone is saying that a supermoon is the main cause of any the mentioned disasters. The supermoon simply adds an additional stressor to an already critical situation (ie. pressure building along a fault line, hurricane related tidal surges, etc.)

The supermoon in and of itself is not a big concern. However, if you have a situation already primed and set to pop off... the supermoon could generate the added stress to either pull the trigger or intensify an event already in progress.

This is where Uranus comes into play.
It was minutes from entering 0 degrees Aries,(29.57) Pisces when the Japanese quake occurred on 3-11 the day it did enter Aries.
On the 20th equinox the Sun will enter 0 Aries 6:21pm EST and be in exact conjunction with Uranus at O Aries, which is The World Point in astrology.

Uranus rules earthquakes, natural disasters,Uranium and can act suddenly and violently
It's going to be a very dicey intense few weeks, by mid-April 6 planets will be in Aries.

We will see this weekend if Uranus is going to continue to trigger aspects from other planets.

I agree that it is a collaberation of more events than just the Supermoon.

However, it is the Supermoon in particular that seems to be the "tipping point", so to speak, that throws the world out of balance a little more than usual with more influence on tidal force.

Anyways, within the next 8-9 days we will shall see.

Not so much the death aspect that attracted (nor concerns me- numbers are very arbitrary) to the article...I simply liked all of the dates and events in a nice, neat package.
