There's plenty of actual *DOH!* moments with this installation though... Putting the water-vulnerable gens underground (to be flooded) and the fuel tanks for those gens at ground level (to be washed away) was idiotic. I am a Christian. Design one component one way, design one another way and make sure they're as incompatible as possible. Quoting: FACEPALM OF DOOM 1245902Just like the round and square air filters on Apollo 13. ---------- [link to www.businessinsider.com] The diesel generators were destroyed by the tsunami. So mobile diesel generators were trucked in. This is where things started to go seriously wrong. The external power generators could not be connected to the power plant (the plugs did not fit). So after the batteries ran out, the residual heat could not be carried away any more. Why was there no mobile diesel generators on the site ever then? Uh huh more lies right?Wrong plugs? They have electrical engineers on staff at the site ffs they could change any plug for anything. |

Well yeah im implying something along those lines yes. Im also implying the generator story seems to have just come up on that shill site after ive been spouting my mouth off about it for a few hours. Which is odd. |

I mean from the videos and pics there was no sight of any portable generators. I know if there had have been a real risk of nuclear meltdown they would have hooked up power in that 8 hours. This is why I think the whole thing is a stunt to demonize nuclear power because it gives no profit from carbon tax. |

meggawhat User ID: 1309332 United States 03/22/2011 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Its not the "plugs" you dipshits. its the switchgear. do you think they just bolt and splice some copper wire to the hot? you cant do that with big power unless you want to blow you and all your equipment to kindom come. get an EE and you can start talking smack about how you could do better. dipshits. |
