The second video with the noise .... it sounds like the wind howling through a pipe to me!! Are there any underground pipes or passages in that area? I did not read the entire thread yet, just the first page, but that is what is sounds like to me.... What is under the ground?? Makes me think of those sink holes and how the soil underneath got washed away until there was just a thin bit on the top until a car drives on it and BOOM - breaks through into the hole. Maybe the wind was blowing underground from somewhere else and none up top? I don't know if that is possible... ?? Watch the first video, this was heard and felt over a very large area.. And the Navy has said it was not jets... Not X37-B(in outer space), not jets, not a washing maching, not wind blowing through a pipe, not thunder... The claims of what this could be, are getting more and more ridiculous.. |

I went outside after a while because the sound just stayed in the same place. At first I assumed it was a jet landing (I am on a landing path to the airport). But after a while it didn't move. It was a cloudy rainy night just like yours. The only thing that made sense was it had to be an acoustic anomoly that I couldn't percieve the jet actually moving at all. This sound is something we've been hearing for a while. WE live here next to the HOMESTEAD AIR FORCE BASE and I can tell you...it's NO JET!! NO J-E-T!! This sounds, it's a sound unrecognizable to the human ears. It's a rumbling of some sorts that last for a while! It makes everything that's not bolted down in the house to shake, the glass to rattle. It's usually heard this far south in the wee hours of the morning, about 3-4:00 AM! One morning the children, (5 year-old twins) heard it and came hollering and screaming their little heads off and flew into our beds! The children are terrified of whatever this is!! It's not something onced heard you'll forget. I have on numerous occasion questioned the military guys that go to the HAFB and asked them what is that noise we are hearing, we have never been given any straight answer by anyone except one guy said: "It's not ours" and walked away! We are still searching for answers, You can rule out, military transport, jets, vehicles of any sort. Rule out commercial planes, helicopter and the likes. This whatever it is, didn't just start, it's been ongoing and for the last 11 years that I've lived here, still can't figure it out! Won't give up.... |

Also, if you watch when the flash happens, the lady says uh oh, what was that" So now, by what others are saying, this woman lives 5 miles from an airport and she cant tell that its a plane and also now doesnt know what lightning is... I say this is the freakiest video I have ever seen... |

THIS SOUND HAS BEEN MISTAKENLY ATTRIBUTED TO POSSIBLE TORNADOES...BUT WE AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WANT TO BE VERY CLEAR THAT THERE ARE NO TORNADOES ... AND NONE ARE EXPECTE first, this sound is nothing man made.. i have write it before, this sound is Very Fast Wind The only natural phenomenon who can give this noise is the jet stream with his very fast winds, more than 100kts,and some times up to hundrends. Only this fast river of wind can give this turbin sound, but usualy this is hapening very high (50000feets or higher). Something has gone bad with weather and jet stream comes near to ground. Pray to dont touch ground especialy in a populated area. |
