Yea steam is normally black ROFL!!!

as an active fire brigade member i can tell you something simple (tepco should know also):
white smoke = steam or burning wood / grass / etc
dark smoke = burning shit (plastic / chemicals / etc)
the darker it goes, it´s more toxid (simplyfied)
you don´t have black steam...

Yeah thats what I was saying to myself lol. Some new kind of steam.
