I've seen "trophy" pics of vets from gulf war 1, korea, vietnam, and ww2...
in people's family photo albums no less...

back in the day... it was "normal" to take pictures of your kills... and yes...
civilians included. sad, sick but true.

The men and women of our military do what they need to do. It takes a certain personality type to do it. They can not just turn it off at a moments notice. It is the way they are.

your unarmed civilains use to walk up to soldiers in previous wars with flowers & a grenade. Truth is you don't know, and if they don't comply you do what you have to.
