I am starting to wonder if this complete ineptitude is planned and if this is Japans way of getting back at us for WWII??

I think it will be messy, uncomfortable on planet earth a little more, and more people will die, but I think the Japanese will solve it. This nuclear "time bomb" everyone is talking about takes a long time to build up to. The best thing it can do is burn right down into the ground and let the mantle absorb it, like Chernobyl. But I have faith in the Japanese they have proven to be a stoic lot and I think they will come through...

We can't measure the radioactive material in the atmosphere so we are going to estimate it based on a simulation!

INSANITY!

I imagine at this point they are considered fortunate to be capable of continuing to bail franctically and therefore have to be satisfied with the best they can manage at present with what little, if anything, they have yet working in their favor with which to do so

yea tho enuf is never enuf in dire straits such as the Japanese now find themselves it oftentimes simply has to suffice

I'm amazed, quite frankly, that they aren't using more of what reserves of time and/or energy they find themselves allotted at present to cry out for ASSISTANCE from the world at large and in general in all regard

they are to be admired for their perseverance in this and not chastised for their so called failings in any regard it would seem

no?

No. They should have made an appeal to anyone and everyone with any expertise in disaster mediation as well as the experts in the field of nuclear physics and most of all the help of all nations best equipped to deal with the disaster immediately; the moment they saw what was happening.

That way they can TRUTHFULLY SAY.....

"We have no indication of anything other than steam coming from any of the reactors."

It's a GAME....and the MSM / Government in the USA do the same thing.

Please! No worries here, if we could mesure there would be no or minor health risks.

Its a nice day, you should go outside or watch some baseball or basketball.

Really, enough of you trying figure things out. We will tell you when you need to worry.

With this kind of critical thinking in play, I'm really surprised they haven't got it all cleaned up and operational by now....

actually, TEPCO's not measuring levels because it can't afford to:

reassuring huh?

Actually they are setting up to file for bankruptcy and just dump this onto the Japanese govt. Because they know that investors are trying to divest from this sinking ship. What investor thinks that they will get back a good rate of return once this mess is calculated (and 2/3 of japan is uninhabitable) from the 6 reactor meltdown. Also thats a bunch of BS with the radiation measurement. Because they where measuring it weeks ago and then now they won't show the data. If the show the true radiation data, people and scientists will be able to tell from the radiation amount what may be going on. And that is radiation is alot higher than they have been saying (much more than the 16000 that was reported yesterday). And all the stuff you hearing about now is the good news.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

It's totally a waste of time to monitor radiation. How stupid

One knows they have been over-exposed if they glow in the dark. A slight glow is ok short-term but if a bright glow is present then one needs to wash off with soap and water. If glow continue then it is recommended to sit at the bottom of a pool to avoid contaminating others.

Use your brains people!
