OP, you are making much adu about nothing.
Do you even know what light working is? It is sitting in a meditative state, focusing on love, and then sending that love out to people or areas of the world that need it.
What is so evil about that?

So when you pray for someone, by your logic, you are opening yourself up to demons? Sending someone well wishes and loving thoughts is the same as praying for them.
