But seriously, I think Light worker, refers to the new-age dimensional spiritual ascension types, who believe that we humans are entering a higher dimension, and will be interacting with spiritual light-beings.

"Lightworker" probably was inspired by no name's book "Worker in the Light" and his other writing which uses this phrase. I think it means someone who is here to help the planet by working for good. I don't think it's Satanic, I think it's kind of New Age.
