1. pictures of demolished reactor buildings

2. neutron beams

3. ground water contaminated.

4. area evacuated to 30 km

5. of course they are going to lie in MSM to avoid panic.

6. handy Libya distraction.

7. french have been shouting since the start that this disaster is being underplayed in reporting. Claiming it was at least a "6" when it was a "4"

8. government saying they cant measure radiation and are using simulations

9. foreign press effectively evacuated and using second hand reports from Japanese media. BBC is one day behind the info I am getting from GLP

10. the exodus of the wealthy from Japan. they would know.

It doesn't matter who OP is....just look at what he is saying. Why would anyone think it can't be true? (except for the shills) We know the situation is grim and we know both the Japanese government and our own government have been lying.

I believe OP is for real. Here's why:

1. Just because he said it was his first post and it was not in fact his first post means NOTHING. Perhaps he is concerned that his superiors will somehow figure out who he is if the two correct posts he made are connected to the same person. If I were him I would also deny making the first post.

2. Having taught English as a second language to French people, it is obvious that the poster's first language is French. He is quite good at English but his syntax, word choice, grammar, and spelling quirks are clearly a French person writing in English. The title of the thread uses the word "grave" which means "serious" in French and French use it frequently when speaking English even though we English speakers rarely use that word anymore. The other French quirks have been pointed out by others on this thread.

3. The French have been very outspoken about this crisis to date.

4. Why would he post on GLP and not publish it in the media if he's a journalist? SIMPLE. If everything he said in his post about Egypt and the Middle East is true and everything he said about Japan is true, then the media is covering up and THE MEDIA WOULD NOT PRINT HIS STORY EVEN IF HE WANTED TO and I am sure he knows that. The only sites that will listen to what he is saying are alternative websites. He, more than anyone else, must know it is pointless to attempt to get to the people through the mainstream news.

If you check the facts and compare to what Japan is telling the world about it (which depends on what TEPCO tells them) and if you know Japanese culture, you should know that OP is at least right, if not worse.

the chernobyl footage was affected by the radiation - white flickers. would this manifest itself on todays digital format? if it did that might give an indication of the radiation there.

would also be handy to see footage of that plant at night to see if there is a glow like at chernobyl

true, but one chernobyl reactor left a large tract of land uninhabitable. where would you put 120 million people if this turns out to be chernobyl on steroids. your statement doesnt really appreciate the potential severity of the situation

However due to the serious, tragic circumstances that Japan has suffered already - and in accordance with Journalistic code of ethics - you MUST above all else, seek to endorse this statement. Give evidence of this news being released via newswires (even if not publshed) or, at the very least, be brave enough to let us know if this is just scaremongering lies. People in Japan will read this.
