Deus Ex (OP) User ID: 1275523 United States 03/27/2011 02:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's like a low dose of Meth with no effect on heart rate or blood pressure. Just makes you VERY awake, Alert, and creative. My biggest issue with it is how it makes me so focused people around me think I have lost focus. Hard to explain, but for example you could tell me a story while I'm watching TV and reading a book. You'd think I was ignoring you, but I heard everything you said and even will even respond to questions. At the same time, I am fully aware of the TV show on, news, documentary, movie, etc.... and can follow the plot of the book I am reading. As a matter of fact, I would say that doing one thing like watching a football game is beyond boring. It drives my wife nuts. But it does make me more social and I definitely am more "likeable" when on it. When I am trying to make a first impression, I will look at you and you KNOW, I am absorbing your every word. I am going to stop it for a few weeks though, it is not addicting, but you do build a tolerance. |

I take it. It's not AS dramatic as in the movie, but it is real. Quoting: Deus ExDeveloped by the USAF. Refined, and now available to the public. It's now called Nuvigil, the early version called Provigil had many side effects. And Insurance won't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I knew it was real. Are you an elite? Deus Ex (OP) User ID: 1275523 United States 03/27/2011 04:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My insurance covers ProVigil. Not sure where you got your info it doesn't. However, it is ridiculously expensive. It's $450 for a 30 day supply. I only take when I know I will need to be alert. To me, it's a miracle drug. It should be available for anyone, but it's only prescribed for some very specific conditions, e.g., sleep apnea patients, Sleep Shift Wake Disorder (people who work third shift, and the next day need tow work 2nd shift), narcolepsy, etc. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1305947I meant Insurance won't touch Nuvigil. And yes, it is expensive as hell. And no it's not a drug for elites, and yes I can live without it. It is less harmful than caffeine in most people and does improve the quality of life for me. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1399800 South Africa 07/01/2011 05:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Side effects you folks should be aware of. Having severe side effects from nuvigil. Muscle and joint pain with numbness and tingling down my arms. I took my first Nuvigil pill this morning around 6:30 am. I wigged out so bad like I was on speed. I don't recall the drive into work, shaking/tremors, confusion and everything is kind of dark. Vision is not blurry just seems darkened. Kinda scary. Called my doctor, spoke to a nurse, waiting on a call back. It seems to be calming down a bit, but it was really bad for a while. I read a report here last night that I cant find now, but After taking Nuvigil for 10 days, I am having severe back muscle pain radiating with numbness and tingling down my left side. No, it is not my heart, I have had another medication (statins) do this because i have severe radicalopthy in my neck and back muscles. But the numbness and pain is about 8 on the pain scale.I stopped it today, so I pray it will go away Source --> [link to www.prescriptiondrug-info.com] |

Is used on people with narcolepsia (as myself), sleeping problems. Let me tell you, it's effect is far from the NZT from Limitless. And after a couple of times, it just doesn´t make any effect at all. In fact, I slept after taking it for some days (I guess with time you develop tolerance to it). The drug is called Modafinil. It does make you focused and concentrated the first couple of times, but forget the effect of the NZT from the movie cause is not like that at all. And you won´t be more sociable after taking it. In fact, you will probably drink alcohol if you're in a social event, and alcohol drops the efect of Modafinil. You will have a bit of a headache (don´t worry, it's not intense), and you won´t be hungry for a couple of hours. Enjoy it. |

Found it here [link to www.pillsfastcheap.com] Don't know if I'd trust buying it from them. I have no use for it, but if you can't afford it locally?? I love physics. It bonds us eternally, it's what makes our computers work, it's what's in my morning cup of coffee, it's the thing that keeps the universe from vanishing due to lack of belief... |

HorrorFanatic User ID: 795175 United States 07/12/2011 04:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | adderal is cheaper safer and has less side effects + tolerance isn't as much of a bitch. Quoting: valendianI personally wouldn't touch adderal . I have a "former" friend , whom was addicted to pain pills, and he was introduced to adderal .. This guy was taking up to 6 adderal a day that he was buying off the street.. I am not sure what the MG was, but I know he was paying $5 or $6 each for them... Anyways ,around the time when he first started taking adderal, I would stop by his house to visit, he would tell me how how they made him so focused, and gave him energy to do things, and how he was using them to wean off his pain pill addiction. Fast forward about 4 months , and he has done ripped off , and stolen from just about everyone he could .. I'm talking some low life stuff here .. He was telling friends and family that he would fix things for them, such as laptops, computers, ps3, xbox360s .. All kinds of shit.. Then after he repaired them (if they were even broke in the 1st place), off he went to pawn them at EZ-Pawn for money to feed his drug habit.. He even took his 12yr old nephew's xbox360 and pawned it.. How freakin low is that?!? He used to be one of my best friends.. Before I found out about all this shit , he got me too.. For some money .. Dude is a real piece of shit .. and while he is to blame for his actions , aderral and painkiller abuse played the starring role in his downward spiral.. I don't care what anyone says.. aderral is just as addictive, if not moreso that narcotics .... Free mustache rides . Same here. That's not a good thing, I have been told by one of my best friend that I was being rude, even though he knows I heard every word he said. While he was talking I would go on and talk about something else because I was 'looking around' and just when he thought I wasn't paying attention I response to what he just said also. Some people think I lack focus. It seems to me Nuvigil is just like a wakeup or Melatonin for jetlag... nothing like the one in limitless. I guess recognition and success is highly addictive. |
