The Grand Valley on the western slope is probably the best place I've been to! It's wayyyyy different here then over Denver side, more country here, not so many people!

I wasn't serious. Denver, the only city to deny the olympics. From what I understand it was because no one in colorado wanted the rest of the world to know how bitchen it is here.

If your into military, religion and overall stupid people its probably for you. Beautiful area. Lame people. Castle rock or north especially if you are a cali girl.

Honestly, CoS is kind of a hole. The city itself. There's not much going on culturally and it's just not a pretty city. Its backdrop is amazing, though.

Go up a little bit into the mountains (about 15 minutes) and you get Woodland Park, which is a super cute small mountain town. Lots of Cali transplants there.

If you think you might want to move here, I disagree on the Castle Rock/North call. Go to the west side of the Springs, Old Colorado City or Manitou Springs, for real people and lots more culture and interesting stuff to do.

It's an odd city, though. Hardcore ilitary/Religious on one side, and hippie/pagan/amalgamation on the other side.

your right about the west side. I lived in cascade before I finally moved a couple more hours west.
If I moved back to the front range it would be Castle Rock. I thought I would like really small town life but it might not be for me. I don't waitin to see if the world is going to go into chaos.

if u have money,jobs are tight out this way.in the winter almost all jobs cut there staff or put them on part time hours...

colorado sure is'nt what it used to be...20+ years ago it was great.now it seems all the trash from all other states have corrupted it.most in the small cities are stuck up and cliquish.the leo's are str8 up dickheadswith a big im better than u complex....i have lived all over co it's just not what it used to be..in way of people.as far as everything else it's great
