I think i fought him later and he said on this planet we all go evil eventually. Well his genes make sure for that.

I found also this interesting intel after i defeated him.

Similar intel we have in thor, v tv series etc where the lunar boss/queen has imprisoned the old good king of earth and is ruling his kingdom.

In demon's souls there was an old king that was imprisoned and the one ruling was called "the false king".

In aquaman movie the old king of atlantis looked also imprisoned and guarded by the kraken/beast/cerberus etc.

In tron legacy same thing, our good father/old king was imprisoned by an impostor who looked like him/false king.

I saw the ending of Kingdoms of Amalur on youtube just today and had similar intel.

It was either the imprisoned lunar queen trying to get free or alyn shir/lilith manipulating you into keeping the ancient dragon/god imprisoned.

Alyn shir was against the masses knowing about the ancient god/dragon and was killing anyone with that knowledge.

She reminded me also mephistopheles from demon's souls who was killing anyone who had knowledge in soul arts to keep such practice secret and all to herself.

Lunar boss like hades/cerberus and like the elder vampire from witcher 3 dlc is located right at the gate/exit/sungate of this world, unable to get out, or waiting for the first opportunity to get out like in witcher 3 cave.

In hades mythology they say he makes sure no one leaves this kingdom that's why he's at the gate. Turns out no one can leave, even him but he's at the gate so he's the first to get out when the gate opens.
