a lot of what is said about the Archaeopteryx is disputed - but anyways..

What if the legend of the dragon, that shows up in many cultures (a fire-breathing reptile) WAS true? What if there did exist reptiles that could breathe fire, or something similar, and they survived through the myth of the dragon?

Along the same line of thought - what if the supposed Archaeopteryx was in fact the origin of the legendary Phoenix myth? Another creature associated with fire, and some reptilian features?

btw I don't believe in that "reptilian alien" stuff, no offense to anyone who does.

by "reptilian" I simply mean reptile creatures..
