so now what? all these idiots are trying to control how we get our information via public radio and they give half a billion to an evangelical christian university???? [ link to www.salon.com] Why does this matter? If you were a conservative you would have the same issue with the countless "liberal" schools. Is this really important to you? This really alters or changes your perception? Or you feel it will be an "ah ha" moment? It's not about being a conservative school, it's about being an Evangelical Christian school with a whole department teaching Creationism as science, should NOT BE FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT. Bible school should be funded by churches and people who attend them. I understand the students are the ones who get the loans, but all the $ goes to Bible classes from the tax payers. I am also trying to get at the point that the $ that is being cut is all from all the programs that are meant to help people to help themselves (in news/information, nutrition/wellness, health, job stability/unions, etc.,) and the especially cutting programs that help the ones who are poor. Tax money should also not be spent 50+% on military budgets, especially when they are not defending us americans, but defending the money interests of the federal reserve. I hope that clears up my issues with the cutting of NPR. I say cut it all. My point was simple asking you to be fair. Which you appear to be doing, somewhat.
