Additionally, I abhor the governments oversight and use of their own self praising term 'authorities'.
I believe a monetary system based on tangible wealth and contracts based on common law are essential.

This is a commendable idea in theory OP, but in practice I can see it being fraught with problems.

First, asking for relatively random people to join you is asking for trouble. Who knows what types would come in - you really need to screen personality types well, as communal enterprises always become hierarchical, or you get some who take more, want more, or generally make problems.

Plus, what happens when you need to pay land taxes and some don't have the money to chip in, or refuse to pay?

By announcing and opening up the fact to potentially dozens of people you are building a well-stocked 'haven' is like turning on a light amid a plague of moths. Friends of their friends, family of those who join etc will all seek out the supposed safety zone in the event of a crisis.

Anyway, good luck - but if I were you and I was doing this, I would only be asking in person only those whom I know and trust.

Thanks for your comment, I totally understand the concern and of course we have absolutely planned for this occurance. A subtle form of screening is in place. The exact location will never be given out over any forum or printed email.

I have to trust also, that all who are meant to be there will be. I am a spiritual person and must combine common sense, discernment & safety with the knowledge of the law of attraction and know that those who are like minded will be joining us and those that are not will not.. might sound a little ultrulistic however this is how I must operate.

As stated earlier, the idea is to form a trust and borrow the money. those in the trust will pay the required fees etc divided equally between all of us. This would not be very much especially out west as the rates etc are 1/3 of what they are here, plus the land we hope to buy is not in 'suburbia' so no town water electricity etc so no service taxes etc either.

However an important point should be noted, if all these things come to pass in the next 6 - 12 mths, governments will fail, the money system will collapse (its already about to go which is why we would like to get it done before then) So there will be no taxes, no loan repayments.. you cant repay money to a bank that doesnt exist anymore.. you cant pay rates to a council that doesnt exist either..

I would assume then you are also preparing for the contingency that things may not unfold along these lines, and that banks/governments/councils etc will continue to seek their dues.

In the scenario you intend borrowing money, then normally banks would have the right to redress overdue payments - in the event one person in the group doesn't stump up the payments - from any collateral or, as is often the case, the asset for which the loan is being used for.

Banks in Aus are getting more stringent in their lending, and given that the land you are talking about isn't that much, personally if it was me involved, I would stipulate cash only, or no dice.

That way you would remove the variable of potential bureaucracy taking action should things not play out the way you think they might.

She said it would be a TRUST, of ALL INVESTORS. Which means it would be jointly owned by ALL those who invested into the project.

If you CAN pull it off it would be great but there will be a "power" struggle and a basic "Charter" of sorts would be needed to operate it.

You will still need "LAWS" and "rules" in order to survive.

A simple theoretical utopia is just that,,, a dream.

It will be killer hard work,,, but with the right people,, It CAN be done.

I would like to make something very clear..

I am not asking anyone to put in any money of their own..No money at all up front would be asked from any member ever.

Should we have agreement amongst those who are connecting with us then a Trust will be formed and any money will be borrowed from the bank.

Should all go to plan and the timing be right, I myself will be supplying the deposit.

The only money that would then be required would be the repayments which would be made equally by all and at most 20 - 50 bucks max a week i would think on such a low cost loan.

I hope everyone understands that now..

As for this network, it is an evolving organism.. it will grow and expand as people connect with us.

We have created a forum specifically for discussion of things like evacuation plans, things you should have prepared, different levels of evacuation and such.

It is forming as it is growing and all input from each new person is invaluable.

Will we definately be buying land and forming a community? I dont know.. its an idea.. a goal.. perhaps.. perhaps we wont.. maybe all this will do is put like minded people in touch with each other and that will be enough..

Nothing is set in stone.. it will evolve as it does and the outcome will be what it is meant to be..
