What do Mexico and the United States have in common?

Both are fighting drug wars that have not been won and will never be won.

Why?

Because to defeat the very source of income that they need will not be an option.

That is why Mexico will never win the drug war in their country. As silly as it seems, if you have the ability to understand spanish you will hear codes spoken in "Narco Corridos" ballads. Read amongst forums and you will hear the code names for these people who are in charge of running drugs. Politicians have been implicated.

In the United States most of you around here already know of the CIA and other agencies involved in drug running. One need not look further than the poppy fields of Afghanistan or the Meth Production labs in Burma to see what is truly going on. Many Politicians have been implicated in this as well.

So drugs will remain illegal as long as the price is high. They will remain sold by the very governments that tell you not to use them.

Now, to wonder what this money is used for... If one has all the money in the world, then what else could these wars be fought for? Power? They've got that. Money? Check.
