THE WAR YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT

(First in a series)

Our Constitution was a blueprint for the best, fairest, most open and honest government ever devised by man. It was the foundation for the only government that stated unequivocally that our rights are inherent, unalienable - having come from God, not from any government or monarch; and that the powers of government came from the consent of the governed, rather than being imposed on the people by force.

In the first few years after our constitution was ratified and adopted, many well-known and well-respected Americans and Europeans commented publicly to the effect that although our form of government was obviously the best-intentioned and best-designed that there had ever been, only a God-fearing, well-educated and honest people could make it work.

Within a mere hundred years after the adoption of the Constitution it became evident that the God-fearing, well-educated and honest people who had formed our country had changed. Many were beginning to give mere lip-service to God, were much less educated and no longer basically honest. Far too many had become selfish, greedy and dishonest; caring only for what they could get for themselves at the expense of others.

The sacredness of the Constitution had become a bothersome stumbling block to the amassing of wealth and power; something to be gotten around rather than to follow religiously. Lying, cheating and stealing from the trusting, gullible public became the most popular game in town. Even Abraham Lincoln perverted the very basis of our country by proclaiming that "the Union must be preserved", when the Constitution plainly gave each Sovereign State the freedom to withdraw from the Union if it did not meet their needs. To prevent secession by force meant that the States that formed this country were really not "sovereign" at all, but merely political subdivisions of the United States of America! Thus died our Tenth Amendment.

Within another hundred years, our government had become such as would be unrecognizable to the Founding Fathers. "We the people" were losing our "unalienable rights" as fast as laws could be passed and new unelected bureaucracies set up. One common, everyday thing after another suffered from excessive taxation or prohibition, or both. The people struggled to obey and live under the rapidly increasing burden of laws and regulations that made no sense to the public.

Many people still alive today in The Year Of Our Lord 2011 can no longer recognize this country as the one we were born in, grew up in and learned to love. The Government today tramples what remains of our rights underfoot daily, and recognizes precious few without a legal battle. A recent President even referred to the Constitution as "just a goddamn piece of paper"! Undeclared wars sap our strength and ruin our reputation. Rampaging inflation takes away our ability to even provide the necessities of life for ourselves and our families. Ridiculous laws and regulations promulgated by nameless, faceless, unelected bureaucrats strip us of our rights as though we were common criminals.

One-world elites, under the cover of their wealth and power, plot to bring America totally under their thumbs and reduce us to a third-world country. They plan to be the new feudal lords and we are to be their serfs.

The public is slow to respond... abysmally slow... frighteningly slow. Hypnotized by the "soma" of television, movies, video games and sports; brainwashed by advertising; apathetic and ignorant; we await a fate most aren't even aware of. I fear our country will cease to exist before half of our population even suspects there is any danger lurking.

A wise man once said, "If you don't see anything wrong, you're part of the problem". When complete tyranny and totalitarian government take over openly in this country, many will wonder what happened and how it could possibly happen here. It will be because they were fat, happy and content in their ignorance, and paid no attention to the warning signs. This danger is not new. It began shortly after 1900. Our future overlords have been very patient and silent as to their plans. Their victory is very near.

A Japanese admiral, shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor said, "I fear we have just awakened a sleeping giant". World War II was straight-forward and relatively easy to win. We were a sleeping giant. When we were openly attacked by a foreign power, we awakened quickly. Although we shed rivers of "blood, sweat and tears" in that war, once awakened, no matter how hard the battle, success and eventual victory were never in doubt by the American people.

In this current war, our enemy is unsuspected, nearly invisible, and has already been wearing us down for a hundred years. They further their goals little by little. They own our politicians outright. Washington is full of puppets, many of whom are still unaware of their status. The rest take orders readily from their hidden string-pullers.

Our end is near. All is not yet lost, however. The one thing that can defeat this enemy is to be aware it exists and who it is. If we awaken - quickly and completely - the outcome is ours to choose. If we remain unaware and asleep as we are, we are lost. Do you care?

Knowledge is power. Ignorance will result not just in defeat, but in abject slavery. Find out what is going on. Research. The knowledge we need is camouflaged and well-hidden, but it is available, particularly on the internet. Find it, study it, understand it - then decide if America is worth fighting for.
