That being said. I am in Calif and I have felt bad for 2 weeks and the last 3 days have been even worse. Headache,nausea, "stomach issues". This is not normal, never felt like this before. Its like the flu but not.

Did/Do we vote for politicians that lower the safety regulations regarding the air we breathe, the water we drink, the polution that energy companies dump into the atmosphere or our oceans???

They are not going to warn us becuase there is not a lot that can be done about it. Most likely, people won't see any effects for 10 to 20 years--by that time it will be too late to blame anyone and people that get sick won't necessarily link it to the Fukashima radiation because a t the time, they were told it was safe. Why panic people when the government can't fix our food, water and air suppplies.

Look at the current rise in Cancer, especially in women and children. NOT ONE Doctor in the U.S. has ever said - 'This rise in cancer was most likely caused by the radiation contamination from a nuclear accident in Russia 25 years ago.'

The radiation from Japan is blowing right over the US, there is nothing anyone can do until those 4 reactors are entombed and the radioactive contamination removed from the area.
Until then, some will get sick, some will die, some will live.
Sadly, the West Coast will be blanketed in radiation by September. The planet needs to rally.

Let me tell you this; i Chernobyl, the organically grown crops did not absorb the fallout as much as the unorganic crops did.
When people took their crops to sell, the government used a geiger counter and none of the unorganic growers could sell theirs because the readings were too high.
Only organic growers could seel their crops.

So buy organic. Less pesticdes, less herbicides, less GMO contamination, less fungicides and less radiation.

Organic foods are healthier too because organic growers actually FEED the soil so crops have more minerals to absorb.

NO, the AC is correct. Gov't is supposed to protect the public. It is Obama's responsibility to be 'in the loop' and to take action.
