Jesus would have a real hard time coming as a thief in the night
after 7 years of Tribulation. No one would be expecting Him
then, Riiiiighht!

182, Those elect in the verses you posted are Tribulation Saints
which come to Him during the Trib.

We will not endure his wrath!

Rev 3:10-11
Since you have kept My command to endure patiently,
I will also keep you from the hour of trial that will
come upon the whole world, to test those who live on

which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

I Thess 5:5-11
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of
the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us
watch and be sober.


For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that
be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us,

of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation

"wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead,

I Thessalonians 4:16-18
