Biggest solar flare of the year knocks out radio transmissions
NASA on alert for more after-effects of geomagnetic storm to satellites and spacecraft.

Early this morning the sun erupted, sending billions of solar particles into space at over 600 miles per second, raising the prospect of solar radiation storms above the Earth, according to NASA. A spokesman said the resulting emissions sparked a short-lived radio communications blackout on Earth. The radio disruption has since subsided. The appearance of the strongest solar storm of 2013 is part of an increasingly common sight as astronomers say this is connected to the sun's 11-year activity cycle. More intense solar eruptions are expected later in the year.

Re: F.O.G.
Thank you all so much!! Tink- I wish I could have avoided this brand of negative energy!! Unfortunately, this was one of those instances where I had to experience it....work through it....and find my way back. I know what's meant to happen, happens...and we have to accept our role...accept we've done what we can or what we are meant to do. I still question this...and thus where the self doubt comes in. Harder still, I seem to pick up when someone is being untruthful...it's those little discrepancies...the conflicts that sometimes others overlook that make it so glaring to me. I believe I am learning to cope with this as well...learning it is not personal...but a reflection of the other person's ego.
I think I am very close to an understanding about the peripheral vision or the bird/flying thing. BTW...my daughter was sitting on the chair today doing her school work and described the exact same experience...her bird was grey. Mind you...I have not spoken about his aloud...have only written down what I saw.

Again...thank you all~~

Re: F.O.G.
Thank you all for the comments and sharing your stories. I have a strong belief in connectedness and interconnectedness ....and I have seen many times this play out over and over in the things we share. I have walked what may best be described as an "organic" path: simple, healthful, close to nature. I am guided by intuition more than anything and go with what feels right.
Over the course of the last several months...I have been introduced to many different ideas and concepts of ascension, awakening, star seeds, many more....things I had not yet encountered. If it pulls at me...I follow. I have had many, many aha and YES!! moments. Many of you have been guides...leading me to discover many new and interesting things....for this I am very thankful.

Now...back to the birds! First Wow!! I remember many of you writing about birds in the past. That is probably why I felt comfortable bringing this up. There are so many avenues to explore here. Birds have always been a pretty positive thing in my life...I draw them in...feeders, I photograph them, pay attention to pairs on the property...and often times feel i make connection with them...that they come to share something with me: the hawk...most especially, cardinals...I associate with three very important women in my life whom have passed on. Most recently I had a moment with a chickadee and a bald eagle.

This encounter and the two previous...they had more of a negative vibe. I strongly believe in yin/yang--good/bad...you can't have one without the other.

I am wondering about the negative interferences associated with spiritual awakening. I know about internal energies...and I must say... I have had a rough couple of days...ones that have led to some self-doubt, discouragement and being down. I am aware that this opens one up to more negative energy.

To clarify a bit further...it's not if spiritual awakening can open one up for the negative...but rather...are "forces" for lack of a better word, that try to prevent us from awakening...or awakening further?? Would negative energies be capable of high jacking or taking the form of a spirit guide or messenger?
 Quoting: moxiechick

Moxiechick, after reading your post all I can reply is :

Yes and Yes. As far as birds, look in books and literature.. see how birds are represented. Some are messengers of love, light, and of the heavens and earth. Beacause of their wings they live in both realms Then there are the messengers that are of the darkness and foreboding and all that it contains. Black crows and such have always represented that as long as I can remember. I know they are in American Indian and other cultures, and that they are tied into the soul in those cultures. And that they bring messages.

It is hard with all the external engery that we have at this time to be "positive" and "in the light". The closer you get to "spiritual awakening" the harder it can be to remain "clear" if that makes any sense..

Much love and light to you and your journey hf

TY The thing that upsets me so about the bees they know what is killing them knew back in the mid-90's it's GMO plants
*****Monsanto*****

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, pesticides may be contributing to CCD.[47] Scientists have long been concerned that pesticides and possibly some fungicides may have sub-lethal effects on bees, not killing them outright but instead impairing their development and behavior. Of special interest is the class of insecticides called neonicotinoids, which contain the active ingredient imidacloprid, and similar other chemicals, such as clothianidin and thiamethoxam. Honey bees may be affected by such chemicals when they are used as a seed treatment because they are known to work their way through the plant up into the flowers and leave residues in the nectar. Scientists note that the doses taken up by bees are not lethal, but they are concerned about possible chronic problems caused by long-term exposure.[25] Virtually all of the genetically engineered Bt corn grown in the U.S. is treated with neonicoticoids and a 2012 study found high levels of clothianidin in pneumatic planter exhaust. In the study it was found that the insecticide was present in the soil of unplanted fields nearby those planted with Bt corn and on dandelions growing near those fields.[48] Another 2012 study done in Italy also found clothianidin and imidacloprid in the exhaust of pneumatic seeding equipment.
A 2010 survey reported 98 pesticides and metabolites detected in aggregate concentrations up to 214 ppm in bee pollen - this figure represents over half of the individual pesticide incidences ever reported for apiaries. It was suggested that "while exposure to many of these neurotoxicants elicits acute and sublethal reductions in honey bee fitness, the effects of these materials in combinations and their direct association with CCD or declining bee health remains to be determined."[49]

nuclear waste barrels discovered in English Channel

By Nicola Kuhrt

Highly toxic contamination in 124 meters depth: A film crew of the ARD at the bottom of the English Channel discovered barrels of radioactive waste. Tens of thousands of nuclear waste containers were sunk there decades ago. Green politicians are now demanding their retrieval.
28,500 containers of radioactive waste were dumped out of the UK and Belgium between 1950 and 1963 in the English Channel. Experts have assumed that the nuclear barrels have long rusted, the radioactivity was distributed in the sea, and the nuclear waste has become harmless. Shooting of a film crew of the SWR now show the opposite. An unmanned, remote-controlled submarine gave the team pictures from the depths of the channel. In 124 meters depth, a few miles off the French coast, they discovered two nuclear waste barrels.

As reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) shows, between 1950 and 1963, just 17,244 tons (about 28,500 barrels) sunk with low-level waste in the underwater trench Hurd Deep northeast of the British Channel Island of Alderney. British barrels contained by IAEA information 58 trillion becquerels , the Belgian 2.4 trillion becquerels of alpha, beta and gamma rays . The EU limit value for drinking water is 10 becquerels per liter.
"We think that a lot more intact barrels lie down there," says journalist Thomas Reutter SPIEGEL ONLINE. It would be very unlikely that you will have at the dive just discovered the only two undamaged drums.

The Greens in the Bundestag calling loudly SWR on the federal government to work for the retrieval of the barrels. "I believe that these barrels represent in this small depth a high hazard potential", Sylvia Kotting-Uhl told the filmmakers. For safety's sake you should bring back the drums, just like this example should also happen in the case of aces. One can the drums with this potential hazard can not just lie on the ocean floor. "And not for nothing that the disposal in the sea has been banned for 20 years."

What???

A fisherman has been bitten to death by a beaver after trying to take its photograph.

The man was on a fishing trip at Lake Shestakov in Belarus with two friends when they spotted the animal on the side of the road.

He stopped so that he could take a picture but as he approached the beaver it pounced on him, biting him in the thigh.

His friends attempted to stem the flow of blood from the wound but the animal’s bite had severed a main artery and the man, who came from Brest, bled to death.

Beaver attacks are rare and according to experts those animals that do go for humans are usually rabid.

However, they are not unheard off.

Earlier this week a video was posted on YouTube showing a man in the Tver region, northwest of Moscow, running away from a beaver who charged at him as he was filming in the area.

Last year in the US two girls were mauled by a beaver in a lake in Virginia as they swam. They suffered serious bite and scratch injuries. A man was also attacked in New York and an elderly woman in Washington.

In 2003 in Belarus a farm manager and farmhand were bitten by a rabid beaver as they tried to chase it from a barn. They survived the attack.

Beavers are the second largest rodents in the world.

Astronomers at the European Space Agency have watched a hitherto-dormant black hole wake and gorge upon a nearby substellar object the size of a “super Jupiter”, a months-long feasting that consumed a tenth of its mass. The sudden flaring of the black hole – believed to have a mass around 300,000 times that of our Sun – came after several decades of inactivity, the ESA said, but is a timely example of the appetite the super-dense anomalies can have.
Scientists expect a supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way to flare in a similar way, potentially as soon as this year.hmmmmm

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan
