Yeah, perplexes me too. We have personally known since the early 90's that by the time we (myself, my group of friends, and my boyfriend) get to retirement age, our social security would be gone. My mom currently has the ability to collect now, but she wont, cause she feels like it makes her older then she is, and her aunt advised her not to collect it right now. I told her that if she doesnt tap into it now, by the time she is truely ready to retire, and collect, in a few yrs time, it's not going to be there. We're nearing that now, and even though she is 65, she doesnt see that she is losing her money, what's hers, because she doesnt want to feel like an old lady. Yet, when she goes to collect it, and they tell her sorry, but you dont get social security anymore, go get a job at 75 yrs old, she's going to be just that, a deer caught in the headlights. But I've been warning her. |

If the whole thing collapses as DOOM predicts The paper that says you own silver.....non redeemable The coins that you hold are face value at the then current currency rate. IE if you have a silver dollar it is worth one dollar. As far as bullion it is next to worthless if your neighbor has a bigger gun. |

The information isn't, or at least it hasn't been, that widely disseminated. It has been an underground secret, unless you find websites like GLP where silver is part of the conversation. I don't remember how I got turned onto it two or three years ago. Maybe it was GLP. Probably was. I think it was a Max Keiser video or two that did it. Before that, I have small memories of different people flashing a silver coin they carried. But it didn't come anywhere close to sinking in what that was all about. I started buying it, starting at $14, but then ran into some financial difficulty and had to liquidate it - every last ounce. I've just started back with a tiny stack. But where is the general public going to learn about how important silver is to their financial future? Just about nowhere. |
