[ link to keelynet.com] I wasn't sure if your "shock" treatment for lyme disease was a sarcastic joke or not. So I googled it and came across some really really interesting stuff on shock treatment for various venoms. The above is just one link. Apparently high voltage shocks to areas poisoned by various venoms from congo ant bites to copperhead strikes disrupt the actions of the venom and neutralizes it in some cases. Honestly, never occurred to me to treat anything with high voltage electricity... ...but (sigh) guess I'll look into it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1331178 This is NOT high voltage.
