United Kingdom 04/18/2011 03:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Secretary General of OPEC Abdullah El Badri - Oil Producers Are Concerned At High Crude Prices And That The Markets Are Adequately Supplied. KUWAIT CITY (AFP) – Secretary general of OPEC Abdullah El-Badri said on Monday that oil producers are "concerned" at high crude prices and added that markets are adequately supplied. "The (high) oil price is a concern. We see that there is a $15-20 premium risk at this time," Badri told reporters when asked if OPEC was concerned about soaring crude prices. He was speaking ahead of a roundtable meeting for Asian energy ministers who are expected to discuss the impact of oil prices on the economy. You don't see any shortages do you. Less than 10% of Libyan oil output went offline. There was no reason for this.
It's the fucking speculators.
Oil output in April was higher than March.
Oil consumption in April was lower than in March.
So that only leaves one other fucking variable.
And whats with the fucking spread of brent crude vs wti crude?
If I were president I would just randomly release a million barrels of oil out of our reserves into the U.S. Market whenever the price of oil was in a bubble.
That would pop the bubble. Then I would buy it back up slowly when the price fell. |
