I debated on selling the wife for some gas but then realized all the fuel I would use cruising for hookers would cost me more.

Lubbock, TX it is $3.58 and $3.89 for diesel. Costs me over $100 to fill up my f250 but heck, it's worth it, it's my bug out vehicle that is emp proof.

$3.76 here on the Kansas side of KC metro. Went up ten cents overnight on Thursday night... We had to stop driving our minivan altogether, and have been cramming into our little 4 door to save on gas. We're having to move to a cheaper area asap. We just can't pay our $1100/mo rent and pay for gas, not to mention how much it costs to feed our 6 kids. Thinking about moving to Ozarks, actually. Anyone know anything about that area? I may have to start a thread...

I'm at the pawn shop right now, I have my grille (my gold teeth, not cooking grill), my kids playstation, my mom's microwave....and some dumb kids bike I swiped out of an open garage. I think I'm gonna ask for $1200

just cancel the expensive tv subscriptions. that is easily a hundred bucks for most people. and stop buying junk food and eating out so much. driving fast is also out. but most people out there are still doing it. i don't think most people are really hurting yet.

South Lake Tahoe here. Its $4.29/gal. for regular unleaded at 'cheap' stations. Expensive stations like Chevron priced at 4.79/gal. for unleaded, and over $5.00/gal for super unleaded. One station in the whole area has it for $4.07, but its not 'good gas'. Gotta' watch out when buying fuel in remote areas too, for some stations sell it watered down, or use 'other' liquids in their fuel. A guy came into a shop I worked at in Nevada and his catalytic converters were completely plugged because he bought 'bad gas'! Happened to others too! Sold most of my 'stuff' in a storage shed I rented the fri/sat before last, but it went to pay TAXES! I don't go to pawn shops. The situation is getting worse, not better. Out of work since end Dec. 2010. Where my daughter lives she took the grandkids to the movies, but not enough people showed up to justify showing the movie! Same thing happened when she took them to the bowling alley! Goin' downhill rapidly now, but people are still in denial about it all!
