If it becomes uninhabitable, it better take at least a year to become uninhabitable because that's how long it would take to get everybody off the island.

Somehow, despite today's speed, alienation, cost of living, split between generations that has come to be, there is a beauty and core artistry suppressed w/amped up survival culture.

Peoples do disperse, and with that dispersal distribute their innate gifts.

(yes, despite historical gore and all that have cultural and physical beauty not found even in closeby lands)
