My mother told me that they are burying the man today and that these "kids" were playing a game called "knockout.."

Well, the streets this happened on are very dangerous - I lived around that area for a while. I don't understand how anyone can feel safe walking in that area - even in the daytime.

I personally believe it was a hate crime as well.

I had to visit someone in the hospital that was off of Spring Ave. One day, there was no place to park except for a block away.

That was one of the most harrowing experiencs for me - walking that one block to the hospital. From that point, I only ever took a cab to the hosp.

I resent the violence because this is my home city - so much of St. Louis is rich with history and it has been destroyed and allowed to just rot from the inside out by violence and neglect. It used to be a beautiful city.

You know what? We need to take care of our 'Problem' demographic, that's what we need to do. We can't act like we're living in the wild west. I'm not anti-gun, but what the fuck kind of society and country are we when we must all carry a gun? We have to be careful where we go and avoid 'Them', we must live in often isolated places in order to avoid 'Them', when is this shit going to end? Why are people such pussies?
