Anonymous Coward User ID: 1350433 United States 04/21/2011 01:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Everything in the material world is an illusion, not just gravity. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1351321Everything is a manifestation of our minds. We are just not conscious enough to see it. You mean we are all one?? Exactly We are a small part of the whole, obviously. Creation and creator are one in the same and we are part of it. That much I do KNOW. |
Deep Roy (OP) User ID: 1136295 United States 04/21/2011 01:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I love all these people in the thread - Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1295229"Durr hurr! Gravity is real dumbass physicist! Durr hurr! Go jump off a cliff and see how that works for you! Duur hurr!" And not realize what he is saying. If he is a string theory researcher, his level of understanding is the same as that of turtle in a fish bowl wondering why he can't just walk through the glass. In fact if he does jump from a cliff, his material body may be lost, but his spiritual body continues, and in fact, is freed from the shackles of the heaviness of the physical body. So, gravity is an illusion, because gravity cannot possibly take away your true essence, in fact nothing can! That is why everything is an illusion. When the mind dies, the body dies, the soul or spirit goes on. There may be something to that scientifically and not just spiritually. The first law of thermodynamics states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. If there is energy within us it will go somewhere, just not sure where, or we are still conscious of ourselves. |

Metaphysically its the duality hardwired in this school and we're supposed to seek to transform all negative into positive, and unconditional love to become Light as a Feather. Jesus walked on water and ascended. Eastern monks levitate. Gravity relates to Shame and a Guilty Conscious, the Dark Star. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Rage Rage against the dying light! |

You know so much more than all us thinking peons. Maybe it is you that needs a new hobby. The difference between you an I is that I have accepted and understood my limitations and that I am not capable of equaling the creators level of intelligence or understanding. If I can't then I will never explain or understand gravity, magnetism, mass,( and on and on) and the purpose of my own existence. Do you? We are given to understand that which is necessary to understand, but not that which would make us equal with the creator or endanger creation as a whole. We have to accept that things that we can't explain just are, and we will never explain them. Anything else is egotistically driven wishful thinking Damn, just give up like that? I rufuse to do so. |

Just look at the distance paradox with 2 protons. Gravity/distance/light/dark/heat/cold is all a construct of God's infinite mind and so are we. |

To mention these three in the same sentence is a crime against reason, and an affront to real scientific advancement. Tesla never attempted to explain how anything 'worked' , he just exploited and expanded on his own observations and what he had established as facts through empirical science and experimentation.(very rare indeed!)that is why every modern device that has radically advanced our technological achievement is based on his trial and error experimentation. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1350433 United States 04/21/2011 02:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In the absence of gravity an embryo cannot develop. Experiments were done which bore out this fact, yet no one can explain it other than to say life evolved in an environment with gravity. So one reason we must have gravity is that it is necessary for life to exist. Centripetal acceleration won't do, it has to be gravity. Wrap your mind around that |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1336555 United States 04/21/2011 02:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hypothesis: Gravity As a scientist, I have had a problem with the standardized theory of gravity. Though Newton did a very good job of explaining the observation of the effects of gravity; he did not do a very good job of showing the force principles of gravity. The question becomes “What is the particle that makes up gravity?” I for one do not believe it is a particle per say, but an unknown force of magnetic energies. Looking at the subatomic, atomic, and molecular structures that make up physical matter, it would make more sense that gravity is force energy like magnetic energy. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1266452The closer we get to it (2012) the more we feel it. The farther away we are - the less we feel it. ...Which is how there could have been huge dinos, giant humans. Ect. I think the reason why dinosaurs grew so large had little to do with a difference in gravity. Looking at their bone structures, it is easy to see that they were adapted to live in the same gravity field we are. It was an adaptation of their circulatory systems that made their huge size possible. I think they had multiple hearts |
