Thread: **** MULTIVERSE AND INFINITY **** GOD'S PLAYGROUND?. Quoting: ~Andariel~I was just reading through it. IMO, it doesn't work that way. What if we think of infinity this way...that it always changes. It always flows and is influenced by 'knots' of consciousness...everything interacting all the time. Hmmm, this is hard to explain in how I envision it to be...I see it as you would the dream world. That, yes, all these things exist, but not in a linear fashion as we view and experience and perceive material reality. So, say you went to go visit your past life, or parallel life for that matter. It would 'seem' to be linear to our perception, but that is because we are only focused on that one aspect...in 'reality' it is a massive, indescribable fractal juxtaposition...we could NEVER take it all in...we could never view or perceive our true selves, much less an infinite universe...we could only place our focus in one of those realities at a time (though sometimes we can break this rule by altered states). |

aether User ID: 1412926 ![]() 10/20/2011 12:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Electric Enceladus 19th Oct. 2011 Saturn exhibits a circuit between Enceladus and its electrical environment. Quoting: observationOne of the most surprising results of the Galileo space probe’s mission to Jupiter was the identification of electrical activity between several Jovian moons and their parent. So-called “volcanic” plumes were seen erupting from the moon Io. The plumes are the result of cathode arcs, electrically etching the surface and blasting sulfur dioxide “snow” up to 150 kilometers into space. Io acts like an electrical generator as it travels through Jupiter’s plasmasphere, inducing over 400,000 volts across its diameter at more than three million amperes. That tremendous current flows along its magnetic field into the electric environment of Jupiter. Electric Universe proponents argued at the time of Galileo’s discovery that plasma discharges from the moon, which is electrically connected to Jupiter, are contributing to the intense aurorae around the gas giant’s poles. Some astronomers even acknowledged that electrical connection when Io’s circuit pathway was seen in Jupiter’s polar aurora. Later, it was found that all four of Jupiter’s large moons also leave their imprints. According to a recent publication, the same kind of activity has been found connecting the moon Enceladus with Saturn’s poles: an ultraviolet “footprint” in the auroral oval. During the August 11, 2008 flyby, Cassini’s plasma sensors found ion and electron beams propagating from Saturn’s northern hemisphere. Their variability was something of a puzzle until it was noted that time-variable emissions from Enceladus’ south polar vents could correspond with the footprint’s brightness variations in Saturn’s aurora............................................................cont. Especially if our very sun is interacting electrically/magnetically with all the planets. I was one of those skeptics who always thought the 'planetary alignment' nuts were.. just crazy. Me too.. Not to tangentatize this thread (that's a word right), but have you read V's work and theory about Saturn's cause of our possible deluge in the past? Course everything is possible, but he gives some compelling reasoning. Anyway, back to thread. Again: BULLSHIT I haven't read it in full, but yes, I've glanced over Velikovsky's Saturn/deluge theory. I've got a thread that has some information from him. Thread: Recollections of a Fallen Sky - CULTURAL AMNESIA The phenomenon of racial amnesia occupied Freud's mind in the last decades of his life, in fact it became his obsession. Quoting: SickScent Initially Freud claimed that the impressions made upon a child's mind dictate the child's future and cause also neuroses in juvenile and adult life. Later Freud reversed his thesis and claimed that man's destiny is triggered by images which exist within the racial memory, deep within the unconscious mind. From psychoanalytic studies we know that a traumatic experience, either of a physical or psychological nature, leaves a strong vestige deep within the human soul. Such vestiges are in the heritage that comes to us from antiquity. They are found in most of the written documents that survive from the civilizations of the past; from Mexico, China, Iceland, Iran, India, Sumeria, Rome, Greece, Egypt, and Judea. They also survive from traditions carried from generation to generation, by word of mouth, in races that do not know how to write. These latter traditions eventually are written down by anthropologists, who collect together stories of catastrophes from north and south, from west and east, from Lapland and the South Sea islands. We ask why we do not recognize this evidence the vestiges of which exist within the souls of men, The answer is that because these vestiges are buried so deeply we are unable to see the evidence before us. [link to grazian-archive.com] I've read "World's in Collision" and i've always wondered what the ancients meant by "the sky fell". Quoting: The_Kitner_Boy I mean, what natural catastrophe would cause a person to say such a thing? Pole shift? Meteors?, rainstorms?.. I think - possibly - the heliosphere was lit up with light because of the presence of an interstellar cloud inside the heliosphere. When the light went out, and the sky got dark, it may have seemed as if 'night came' (just like when the sun falls below the horizon night comes). As strange as it may seem, early astronomical traditions identify the "primeval sun" as the planet Saturn, the distant planet which the alchemists called the "best sun" and which the Babylonians, the founders of astronomy, identified as the exemplary light of heaven, the "sun"-god Shamash. ("Shamash is the planet Saturn", the astronomical texts say.) In archaic copies of Plato's Timaeus, the word for the planet Saturn is Helios, the "sun" god. Popular Greek traditions identified Saturn as Kronos, alter ego of Helios, and Kronos is said to have ruled "over the pole". But only a handful of scholars have bothered to trace the parallel referents in other cultures, or to address the unanswered questions. Worldwide drawings and symbols of the once-dominant luminary show a disc with rays, a disc with spokes, a disc with a central orb or eye, a disc with a crescent upon it. Today we require a powerful telescope to see Saturn as a disc. We must fly a space probe close to the planet to see rays and spokes. Even then the spokes are intermittent and dark. The ancient astronomers, however, described the spokes as those of a cosmic wheel. They were "streams of fire", the "glory" of heaven. [link to www.thunderbolts.info] The memory of the cataclysms was erased, not because of lack of written traditions, but because of some characteristic process that later caused entire nations, together with their literate men, to read into these traditions allegories or metaphors where actually cosmic disturbances were clearly described.
