Strange sight in night sky. Cluster of stars, aircraft ?
On Saturday night at about 10 PM I ran outside to put trash in the can, glanced up into the night sky and was shocked at what I saw.

It appeared to be a triangle formation of star size ( from a visibility stand point) aircraft very high in the night sky. The sky had alot of clouds , but as the clouds moved these lights in the sky were exposed, there were about 16 total moving from due North to due south.

They moved from 9 o'clock to 2 o'clock in the matter of 10 minutes. 3 were in a triangle formation the remainder were scattered haphazardly a short distance from the tight cluster.

The million dollar question is what were we seeing? My daughter insists that it was stars, I said and believe that because the Earth revolves from East to West, ( right, because it appears that the Sun rises in the East, and sets in the West,, I know the Sun and stars are stationary, we rotate and our Horizion changes,, but what ever). Because of our rotation it seems odd if not impossible for the stars to appear to move from due North to due South..

Smart people please give me insight.

Thanks

I live in the New Orleans area, this same night my 4 year old Grandson dreamt about " the rainbow like lights in the sky" .. He was in bed asleep when the entire family saw this weird sight..... questions, always questions with no real answers

Just saying

I camped down at the bottom of the Grand Canyon once and saw the 3-star triangle formation you mention. It was a perfect triangle, but the triangle was slowly rotating and moving across the sky around the same pace as the other satellites we were watching(cause down there you can see plenty). Right as it was directly above me, each "star" piece of the triangle split and all 3 "stars" or craft went off in a perfect triangle direction, as far as you could see.

I was with my siblings and it freaked us out. This and the beaver that kept chewing on our tent poles lol

Re: Strange sight in night sky. Cluster of stars, aircraft ?
I saw something similar, but waaay back in 2003. It was a larger group of stars going northeast-southwest though. We were out on a boat around 9ish. There was supposed to be a meteor shower I think (November-December). I pointed it out to three other people. First time watching for the meteor shower, so I had no idea what to expect. Been watching ever since but I haven't seen anything at all close to what I saw that night. Of course the stars are highly visible at sea but I don't think that explains it completely. So...if anyone into stargazing had a reasonable explanation I'd appreciate it.

Could be shadow government surveillance craft.

Could be scouts from returning lost tribes checking
out landing sites.

Could be a support system replenishing earth's
resources for the second coming.

Those of you who have abandoned scripture for science,
are missing the science core.

There is far more to our environment than the surface
and atmosphere of the planet.
