My wife was a Gulf War veteran, and senior police officer 12 years with the force up until a year ago when she was fired under trumped up charges. Truth was she knew the dirt & the corruption going on within the higher ranks , and many of the street officers at her old PD. But because her morals were of such high standards, she didn't fit in. She is blackballed and unemployed, and will likely never become employed in her degreed field of work because it's become so corrupt. I'm an neither a moran, a cop-"hatter", nor a pot-smoking brain dead dumb fuck.
