Here is a prayer I repeat often, and I find it comforting: Lord Jesus, help me to live according to Your will,
that I may always be ready to meet You when my work upon this earth is finished.
Grant me, Lord, time for repenting for my failures and omissions, time to complete my work,
and may I end my days here with a peaceful death, comforted by the fullness of Your grace.
I ask for salvation for myself, my family and relatives, my friends, and for all my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Bring us all safely home to You, Lord, that we may praise You and bless you forever.
Amen. Ah, that's nice Aquarius. I'm going to add hopefully a little comfort also, so my above inquiry doesn't seem so insensitive. I hate to see people down. What matter if there is no new dress,
hat, shoes, or even the house rent paid?
They are of the moment.
If you are happy that you are alive,
you still have the opportunity to say,
"Blessings be on thee," and these are what live forever.
Shadows pass.
Only the light and truth lives on.
