I did this myself, it does have layers yes but its doesn't have multiple groups of multiple layers. it groups it all under 1 layer group not several layer groups, still seems fishy to me considering the colors on the ink were different when zoomed in...

don't all copies that are recent (april 25,2011) require a bar code no matter what state it is from?
