Essence User ID: 1463040 United States 07/11/2011 02:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I feel your pain. I fought this for a year with all the same advice you received on this post - no luck. I tried all creams and off the shelf treatments - including anti-fungal with no luck. I had moderate success with an alkalizing diet when I thought it was candida (yeast explosion), but didn't eliminate it. Quoting: Been there... Fixed it! 1362839When it got really bad, I did some more research and discovered that it mitt be either chronic streptococcal or staphococcal dermatitis. I went to the doc and forced him to do a bacterial swipe/culture. Came back positive for strep. 10 days of amoxicillin and some recommendations for taking care solved it. In addition to the antibiotic, go to walgreens and buy Balneol cleansing lotion (in the preparation-H area). Use it to clean up with TP when you have a BM. Also, can't recommend enough adding psyllium fiber to your diet daily (I prefer metamucil or similar). Makes for a really clean exit! Good luck! When you've eXperienced this issue did it afect your urethra too? Say annoying burning when urinating or after ejaculating? This is not. Std imtalking about. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1372469 United States 07/11/2011 02:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | anything from a thrombosed hemorrhoid to an exposure to some sort of VD and now a scorching case of same. While it is possible to have external hemorrhoids, it is also possible to have one inside. When you have a BM it gets stretched and irritated a LOT. This can cause bleeding, discharge from the lower intestinal area, and worse. Bottom line is that it can also be an indication of rectal or anal cancer. Get to a good proctologist. Not a GP. You'll just be sent to the specialist anyway, so might as well save yourself one office appointment and the cost and time of same. Most rectal surgery today is done under a local, using a laser, and is quick, if not totally painless. The old days of being laid up for weeks after rectal surgery are OVER - thank heaven. Most people are back to work by the time a long weekend has passed. It's much easier today. But it's also something you do not want to ignore. Your "little problem" could be cancer and if it's caught and treated early the recovery is like 99 percent. If you wait, it's going to take a lot more surgery and recovery becomes less certain and more difficult. |

Talamascaa User ID: 1290437 United States 07/11/2011 03:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | my butt hole has been burning and itchy for the past few weeks. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 870032I really don't eat a lot of spicy food. No more in the past few weeks than I usually do. I wash it with soap and water in the shower daily. I always wipe real good after pooping. I use the same toilet paper I've been using the past few years. I'm not gay and don't stick anything up my butt. I'm not only looking for relief of the burning and itching but I also would like to know the cause. Any suggestions? Sounds like you may be overdoing it. [link to www.skinsite.com] |

Worms (if itchiness predominates) Second Most Likely: 2. Candida/Fungal Infection (if burning predominates) Other possibility: 3. Hemorrhoids (if rectal bleeding predominates) Suggestions: Look into toilet after bowel movement to see if you see live worms wriggling in your poo. Take a course of one or more naturopathic remedies (such as oil of oregano) for a worm/parasite/fungal cleanse. Take regularly. Avoid sugar and alcohol. If pain and bleeding persist, also check for cancer. Goodluck. |
