My favorite airport was Frankfurt.

Super clean, every kind of shop in the world.

I made Marilee a flight attendant when we lived
in Cairo and she used to take the flight to Frankfurt
just get some real food for the kids.

When I flew for ATA I would get to the hotel,
change clothes, take the train to the hauptbahnhoff
and have a bratwurst, with hard roll (spicy mustard)
and an orange Fanta while I was reading the Paris Edition
of the New York Herald Tribune which I have read faithfully since 1955.

Then for dinner at the hotel wiener schnitzel and spetzle.

I didn't realize it was a UFO until about 20years later. I though it was an M2-F2 passing from left to right from in back to in front. I was just about to start descent into LAX and was over Palm Springs.

Only years later did I realize it was impossible for this military craft to be operating around Palm Springs.
