Arkansas - Unreal Flooding

Its only going to get worse. People from that area need to get out.

I live in the very Northwest corner of Arkansas.
Home of Wal-Mart.
The deluge just keeps continuing.

my parents live in south east missouri.. they said its been raining non-stop and all the roads are closed... couldnt get out if they wanted to.

(lucky the town is on top of a hill)

I live @ the NE TX/SE OK state line. Since last week, we've had over 12 inches of rain with another 6+ inches coming the rest of tonight/tomorrow. Right now, I can't get out of my driveway, which is roughly a quarter mile long. It looks like a mini-river. Lived here 10 years and never seen it this bad before.

I was sympathetic until you said WalMart. Drown that company baby.

i cant stand to watch videos like this.. but if this is about some nonsense idea that getting the new madrid fault wet will make it shake.. a little history...

before white people, this area was A HUGE SWAMP...


i dunno.. maybe their were huge catastrophic earthquakes for millions of years and maybe none of the Native Americans hanging around at the time ever had a chance to tell someone before being genocide-ed... but.. i doubt it.

maybe need to adjust your doomometer back a few notches.

I noticed that also. There is a good map of this here [link to www.fox16.com] It looks like the storm is pouring out of the centre of Tx. Seriously, like a massive nuke plant steam stack with no shut off valve and and endless supply of water. Then it stay's straight through Ar. and almost zero variation in direction but stranger still is that it has been in a straight line for a very lon time. WTF?
