You are forgetting that Saudi Arabia has a "doomsday device" which will blow all current oil infrastructure sky-high should the royal family fall from power. There is no way, even TPTB, would risk losing %35 of current supply to gain direct control.

Next quarter earning reports come out its done. I am an engineer. Electro-Mechanical & Computer. I work on, repair, re-design everything from cars to PC screens. Nearly every item I have worked on in the last 25 years has Japanese ICs (chips) in them. Most are NEC, Sanyo, Sony & NEC to mention a few. Companies like DELL, Logitech, Microsoft, Apple, Motoroal, Sprint, Verizon, Dlink, Linksys, Belkin, Roland, Okidata, Cisco, Alesis, Tascam, HP, (1000s MORE!) will get PWNED because they can no longer get Japanese chips, rubber items and other items for needed to produce their products.

Then we have Ford, Lincoln, GM, all have Japanese chips and components under their hoods & dash. They are screwed too. No new cars for 2012. Only left overs (I already bought mine last month plus extra parts).

EVEN CHINA NEEDS THESE ITEMS TO BUILD MANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS!
