Wanna make elites scared? Unite. Start a unity movement. Technology exists for it. A website could do it. A list of issues is provided on a website, you arrange them by most to least important. Then you're asked what positions you'll compromise on, and what you're willing to commit to actualize your goal – donate, sign petitions, volunteer work, vote for a candidate.

Let's say a conservative in Texas has immigration as first priority. A liberal in West Virginia has education as her top priority. A website connects them and Texan supports education if West Virginian supports immigration reform. This would require compromise. If you refuse to compromise on any issue at any level, then you're helping elites. Republicans can't unilaterally stop elites, nor Democrats, Christians, Muslims, any single group. Takes all hands on deck approach. Yeah, fairy tale bullshit for ppl to unite. Usually takes a crisis, sink or swim moment.

I hear what you are saying, Darkness, but I think we have been on the trajectory of "fucked" since the early 90s; arguably since the late 1800s on a more macro level. It appears to be a barrelling down date with destiny the world cannot avoid.

The entire planet, energy wise, feels like a tinder box that will only take a tiny spark. That spark will likely come from an unexpected place. Where? I have no idea, but have a feeling, it will not be one of the usual suspects.
