Background of Michael Jackson's accusers

1. Jordan Chandler

A child under the influence was the first accuser of Michael Jackson. Jordan Chandler was Mj's first accuser. His father, Evan Chandler, was a Beverly Hills dentist and screenwriter, co-writing Robin Hood: Men In Tights. Evan's temper lead to a divorce in 1985. In 1993 Evan's son, Jordy, became friends w/ Michael Jackson. Evan asked Jackson to finance several of his movie scripts, but Jackson refused, leaving Evan pissy.

Evan asked his son if Mj had made sexual moves, but the son said no. One day Jordan had a tooth pulled by his father and asked to be knocked out so he didn't feel pain. Evan Chandler administered sodium amytal to sedate his son. Upon waking up Jordan was again questioned if anything sexual happened w/ Michael, and, under the influence. Jordan said yes.

Rather than going to the police or child's services, Evan contacted Barry Bothman, a hardball lawyer w/ a reputation for winning settlements. At this time Evan was $60,000 in debt for child support and had a malpractice lawsuit against him. Jordy's stepfather, David Schwartz, taped a telephone conversation w/ Evan when this exchanged happened...

Chandler: And if I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I've checked that inside out. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever. June will lose (custody) and Michael's career will be over.

Schwartz: Does that help (Jordan)?

Chandler: That's irrelevant to me. It's going to be bigger than all of us put together. The whole thing is going to crash down on everybody and destroy everybody in sight. It will be a massacre if I don't get what I want. This attorney I found, I picked the nastiest son of a bitch I could find. All he wants to do is get this out in the public as fast as he can, as big as he can, and humiliate as many people as he can. He's nasty, he's mean, he's very smart, and he's hungry for the publicity.

After getting a drugged confession from his son, Evan took his child to a psychiatrist who told a story of Michael's abuse. This caused a police investigation by Santa Barbara District Attorney, Tom Sneddon. The police were unable to find any corr abating evidence. After spending millions of dollars mounting a prosecution, TWO grand juries found lack of evidence to bring criminal charges against Jackson. By this point Jordan stated he would not testify against Jackson. The case was suspended and left Tom Sneddon bitter.

W/ no criminal charges possible, a civil suit against Jackson was settled out of court for $20 million. Jordan got most of the money in a trust fund. The father, Evan, was awarded $1 million. Evan attempted to sue Jackson again, but the case was kicked out. Fed up w/ it all, Jordan filed for and won emancipation from his parents in 1994 and refused to testify against Jackson in a later trial. In 2006 Evan assaulted and nearly killed Jordan w/ a barbell and mace in New Jersey. In 2009 after decades of mental instability, Evan committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
