Well, I just had a weird thing happen. I was sending the link to this thread to a friend who has a doctorate in computer security because he's always interested in viruses/censorship, etc. I also c&p'd some of the links in Scrumps post on page 5 re: constitution.org.

"natural born" = both Parents American Citizens at the time of birth


Obama's daddy was NOT a citizen at the time of Obama's birth... he was born a "dual-citizen" ... and then later adopted - he became a citizen of Indonesia... which required that he give up all other citizenship ... but when he came back to the states (HI) to live with his grandparents, he never renounced his Indonesian citizenship or reapplied for American Citizenship ... after some period of time, his Indonesian citizenship expired ... leaving him without a country ... an illegal alien

The real question is, what can we do about it. There have been countless attempts to get to the Supreme Court on this but they keep turning the case down for review. The SCOTUS guys won't do anything, Congress seems to scared to act, they might be called birthers and MSM is in lock step with Obama. So, what do we do, they ignore the supreme law of the land!!!

The State Dept determines citizenship, and changes its definition every 10 years or so by adminsitrative whim. The Prez could declare YOU a non citizen just like that... Or he could declare what were non citizens yesterday, to be citizens today...

....(sigh)...YES, the child would be a "CITIZEN" because it was born here. But because the FATHER was a damned FOREIGNER the kid would not be a "NATURAL-BORN citizen". The child would grow up to be able to fully engage in all aspects of American politics EXCEPT be PRESIDENT. An American president needs to be 100% American (from two AMERICAN parents) so that there is no possibility of dual allegiance or his putting the interests of the other country ahead of America's interests. And WHOM do we know that has been doing THAT for nearly three years?

Arnold Schwartzenegger (a naturalized citizen of foreign birth) was able to become Governor of California, even though he was born in Austria. But he can NEVER be President; that is the only position which has this requirement. Of course, if Obama is allowed to get away with this, the door WOULD be opened then for Mr. S. to run since Obama made the precedent. Who knows? Maybe that's the plan!!

And yes, all those anchor-babies ARE citizens, they just can't become President. That's the only good thing about them.

Unless Obama can continue to load the Supreme Court with more Marxist/Progressive judges, who will probably change THAT law just like they've been so busy changing other laws which have been fundamental to our Nation for nearly 300 years.
