I read the original BEZERK thread as "Something went BEZERK...."
and I read that as, AUgie went BEZERK.. not us.
the events in the GoM and the signals from somewhere( space or The Great Wall) set the agenda for AUgie.
It strikes me that whatever AUgie does, it is our world and all in it, that is just waiting to be morphed, killed or substantially altered eg metals/ minerals..
Acolyte did say terracotta was protected from AUgie.
Terracotta is used to 'break down' oily substances, so while Augie remains in an oily state, terracotta can act as a barrier.
Some people seem to know how to reduce the effects of Augie, some people may be more or less resistant to the effects, and What can we do? It is a serious question.
Blue ET's Friends seem to have been trying to work on this problem for a long time, in our terms, and our own compromised military/industrial folk have tried to put a stop to their research.
To my mind this is a much greater issue than the continued survival of humankind, its like a major global extinction that is on the agenda.
