Should GLP be the Early Warning System for the Internet?????

That's why I check GLP several times a day. We have thousands of people checking many different news sources. No one person can check all sources, but a few thousand on GLP can, and then pass on the important stuff.

I know there are people on here who know more than they tell, so when times get ugly wouldn't this be the best place to be rather than MSM who would give us said warning a couple of hours or days late!!!!

I absolutely think GLP should be the warning system. However, there are two things that need to take place here if that is to happen. The only threads that need to be pinned are the actual 'truth' threads that have actual links to events that are currently taking place. Secondly, the scoffers and BSers need to keep their opinions to themselves and not reply to the pinned threads. There are too many newbies who don't know what is truth and what isn't and the scoffers only confuse them....

Yes - there should be doom gauges, based on votes for a key question or two (Not 1 to 5 stars -- I mean that is nice too, but something more)

Something along these lines and likely more questions, Just too tired now to think past 'post'.

GLP has been an alt-media shill's wet dream, but I think the tide is turning.

They are loud, but obvious. Pointing them out is not too hard.

Yes, but the information should go to the mods and let them check it and then put it out giving the first person who told them the credit. Course if it's really bad no one will care who was the town crier.

GLP is already the Early Warning System, that's why we frequent GLP often; to get the news the rest might report on tomorrow (or ignore, which commonly happens). Too bad we get a lot of crap here, like the "I like bit tits" thread from earlier today. Oh, and the 99% wrong doom threads [ya hear me 5/21 peeps?!?!].

I believe there is a large amount of meaningful information that can be extracted from this site. The information contained in separate posts need not be valid, but look for the patterns and the systems of information. I'm drunk, but I have a feeling someone is already doing this. I will do it myself.
