Well maybe you would like to share, because other people were helping you and were offering you different advices, or once you've got a bussines idea you just going to take it and run like hell?

those busy executives work longer.After work,they go straight to night clubs or restaurants.they don't get time for grooming.Most wear work cloths and have messed up hairs.They go to bars to drink and impress women.So,a mobile hairstylist will be a necessity.

How about a homeless shelter or soup kitchen?

I am sure the OP is hoping to start a business where he can make a profit. If they only have $2k then they will so be living in the homeless shelter themselves.

I suggest checking into the lawn service. It's mostly seasonal but it could easily multiple your money in a short period of time. Go to all the realtors, banks, churches with business cards advertising lawn service whether you will offer full service lawn care, basic, etc. My son did this type work while he was in college and banked in a very small area. If you do a good job, word of mouth referrals get around. The key is to be good at whatever you decide to invest in and always answer your phone. You can't make money if you don't answer your business phone.

I'd also like to recommend checking into taking some sort of training or certification. In Texas, you can take a dental assistant, hygenist or medical phlebotomist (takes blood) for $1200 to $2000 and you will get your certification in months. Then, you will be making a steady income. And, some of the programs will allow you to pay half down and make payments on the remainder. Some of the programs even offer financial assistance and then you could use the $2000 to live off of for a while during school.

Another idea, start a computer based business like selling certain products or an offer of services like trash/junk removal, hang Christmas lights when in season, start an online all organic product/food business, online tanning products for sale, start a grocery delivery business-you would be surprised how many people will pay for that service just so they don't have to go out. What about a pet grooming service or pet walking?

Or even a Dog Grooming Service (could become Mobile too). I thought about it, and you don't have to have a license (I don't think). You could even learn it online or through DVD instruction. I do my own dog grooming...it's not hard to learn. Geesh, I just wanted someone to shampoo my medium sized dog and they wanted $35.00 Don't know how rich you'd get, but for some people, they'd be in heaven. Depending on the clientele you target, you could make some big bucks.

How about vegetable starts of both popular and exotic varieties - as food prices continue to soar, more and more people will begin growing their own food.

Get a table at a Farmer's Market and go for it. I have been doing this since February, and it's going very well.
