Bullshit! In actual fact the Government was already actively involved in the development of Islamic Sharia/banking finance and the Halal slaughter program. Government officials have travelled extensively to the middle east to lure Islamic investors, promoting Australia as Sharia friendly.The Government declared that it is all about providing choice for Muslims while gaining access to petro dollar capital. In March 2011 Muslim leaders publicly stated that Sharia law was already a reality in Australia. Several months later In May 2011 Robert McClelland kept up the charade,declaring once again that there was no place for Sharia Law in Australian society and the Government strongly rejected any proposal for its introduction, self appointed Prime Minister Julia Gillard also pretended to block Sharia law being introduced. Sharia law as a fact lives via the practices of the Muslims that reside in Australia and the Government has encouraged and supported it. The Government has also changed Australian laws to suit the Muslims, for example provisions have been made to the family law act that accommodates Muslim men and their multiple wives and children.The government recognizes polygamy(a tenet of Sharia law) for Muslims only. In 2009 Robert McClelland removed all words from the official lexicon that identified muslims/Islam with terrorism, for fear of offending Muslims, yes folks, it's true, the Muslims useful idiots in Government wanted to 'protect' Australians from the truth about barbaric Islam.
