The Tribulation begins when Antichrist signs or renews a 7 year peace treaty with Israel. On the day of this event, the Tribulation begins and lasts for 7 years, or 2,520 days (30 days to a Biblical month).

The Tribulation begins after the Rapture of the Church. The Bible does not state whether the Tribulation will begin a few days, a few weeks, or a few months after the disappearance of millions of people from the earth (Rapture of the Christian Church). However, we do know that the Tribulation begins the day the peace treaty with Israel is signed.

1260 days (31/2 years) after the peace treaty is signed with Antichrist and half way into the 7 year Tribulation, we know that Antichrist goes into the rebuild Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and declares himself the one to bring peace to the Jewish People. Antichrist then sets up an image of himself in the Jewish Temple, stops the daily offerings to God and declares himself their leader. This is called the "Abomination of Desolation" in the Bible. The Jewish people will then see Antichrist's true colors and realize he is a fraud.

Daniel 9.27
