ANY APPLIANCE REPAIR PEOPLE HERE? QUESTION ABOUT DRYERS
If you remove the front bottom panel and look inside while the dryer is running, how long should the flame be? A few inches, blow torch or flame thrower all the way to the back panel? Serious answers will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Re: ANY APPLIANCE REPAIR PEOPLE HERE? QUESTION ABOUT DRYERS
How long is the burner?

Should run full length...blue flame (cleanest)
It actually runs a manifold if Im not mistaken so flames may even lick that enclosure

Re: ANY APPLIANCE REPAIR PEOPLE HERE? QUESTION ABOUT DRYERS
Was the dryer purchased for natural gas? Some dryers need to be converted to gas type.

You should not be able to see the flame it should be burning inside a can like tube near the fan that blows the heat into the dryer

Are you referring to the metal tube the flame is in? If so, the flame goes all the way to the back. Repairman was already here twice but the flame used to be much shorter. Just checking to see which is the proper length.

Sure :)...If it appears to have gas holes that dont burn...turn off gasola wire brush burner lightly...vacuum and try again :)
Clean thermocouple if it has one 1dunno1 looks like a rifle bullet witha wire in its ass LOL

Make sure the gas is off and blow in the burn space to dissipate any gas...get a fan at a distance open a window.

Just dont go BOOM chuckle

Re: ANY APPLIANCE REPAIR PEOPLE HERE? QUESTION ABOUT DRYERS
The flame appears to burn clean, just wasn't sure about the length. Searched a few DIY repair sites but couldn't find any answers. Thanks again for your help.
