I'm not a nuclear physicist, but we all learn the basic stuff in school so it is easier for me to evaluate what is going on. Nevertheless, there are far more unknowns than knowns due to scarce and false information being released. Gunderson is credible and enenews tracks the media for those interested. Consequences are harder to estimate. I am deeply concerned about seafood in the coming year (and after). Massive amounts of radioactive isotopes are going into the ocean and sea life will concentrate it up the food chain. The only reason I can imagine that detailed air,land and water monitoring data is not available is that the levels are far beyond acceptable limits and no one has a solution. On a societal level, we are in a kind of collective denial in the face of an unparalleled crisis, and even those of us looking at it seriously have not come up with any effective solution. What would another tsunami do? Even a bad typhoon or other extreme weather?

Wish I had an answer. This ought to be priority 1 for at least northern hemisphere countries. Anything less seems like suicidal negligence.

As for the Switzerland address, I'm in the neighborhood at the moment but not a native Swiss.

do not know anything for sure, does not matter what is printed or not. We were and are not there.
However have you seen the pictures with explanation, that there may be a false flag in progress.
There are pictures that may show that the reactors are not even there anymore! Dismantled!
It was known this "plant" was to be shutdown previous to the "possible" tsunami and that many rods ect have been sold to other countries for fuel.
Just saying, you should check into this side of the story as well, google it, check the threads here, just saying....

I think it does. Folks, the nuclear fuel looks to me like it has reached the water table. They can suck all the “hot” water they want out of that thing – unless they’ve got a tank the size of the Pacific Ocean it’s going to keep on steaming.

All the talk of water tanks is just a diversion. The fuel has left the building…

i think the toll in terms of human deaths, the destruction and deaths of other animal species, dna mutations, and human suffering is going to be tremendous, i don't think there is a reliable method to measure the radioactive poisoning of the planet, the entire earth and it's inhabitants.

Your really failing to account for the infants already accelerating in deaths.

Only nine more days to op's 35 day outside limit. So if it takes 50 days would he not still be right? Anyway people should take another look.

Why are they forming? or better yet how do clouds form?
well:

Cooling air – The air temperature must decrease enough for water vapor to condense.

Condensation nuclei – Tiny particles, invisible to the human eye, such as dust, dirt, and pollutants, provide surfaces on which water molecules can gather and condense into water droplets.

If the conditions are right, then a cloud will form. Clouds often form where two weather fronts meet, like when a cold front meets a warm front. The kind of clouds that form can say a lot about what type of weather is coming! The main kinds of clouds are stratus, cumulus, and cirrus clouds, and each one forms under different conditions.

So its now in my “opinion” that heated water particulate is being lifted into the atmosphere (via the boiling spent fuel pools). This is essentially creating “stratus” clouds, that are constantly spilling radiation into the pacific ocean…

Its even possibly that the clouds are carrying radiation even higher spreading the contaminated isotopes, even deeper into the jetstream. Making the radiation much more worse than it is at a global scale…

How long this has been taking place is a real indication as to: what type of damage has been done, and how long its been happening;

Tepco once again is telling the public that the releases are currently minimal.

Well that seems to indicate quite a different story…

The reason we are seeing clouds is due to thermal temperature carrying nuclear radiation via radiated fuel pools, up. and into the cloud cover. When the hot gasses meet the cold atmosphere they create clouds. The darkness is an indication that they are heavy in water and particulate.

This indicates that there is a probably a large heated / vapor release (not steam release). which I will presume Means: Spent nuclear fuel is not being moderated by water (to create steam).

So:
Did reactor 4 already crash…

One could only infer that there is a huge piece of information missing at this point…

Questions in my mind:
Which reactor is the heated vapor coming from?
How long has this been taking place?
Did reactor 4 run dry?

My gut tells me:

math is credible but as of today work seems to be still in progress
unless you are correct that the workers are to remain until the china syndrome takes place. a few of my questions are:
at this point where could the corium be?
what is going on at reacror 4 - no information on atmc.jp?
reactor 2 is aparently so radioactive that equipment malfunctions?
is radiation still being blasted over the US?
we know decontamination has ceased so what is going on with all this water?
tacoma i appreciate all your work and effort to keep us informed but like i said truthful information is scarce.
one last thing. we americans must fight to abolish nuclear power. i alone cannot fight but as a society we need to stand together. nuclear power is beyond our control. we must stand together before it is too late - although i fear it already is. people need to be more aware!! keep this thread alive!
